"Some doctors were great, others not so much"
I’ve had a handful of appointments through Kaiser, and overall the actual care was mostly fine. A couple of the doctors I saw were warm, paid attention, and made me feel like they actually cared about what I was saying, which I really appreciated.
But I have to put some of the blame on the doctors who seemed checked out. A few visits felt rushed and kind of cold, like they were already focused on getting to the next patient before I was even done talking. It wasn’t awful, but it definitely didn’t feel very personal.

It was mostly clean, but not exactly spotless. I noticed a few areas that could’ve used a bit more attention. Not a huge deal, and I can live with it, but I was hoping it would be a little cleaner.

"Good care overall... if it fits what you need"
I’ve had a good experience with Kaiser Permanente, both online and in person. The website is easy enough to use, and I can usually find appointments, messages, and what I need without too much trouble. It’s not perfect every single time... but overall, I do feel like I can trust them and that I’m being taken care of.

"Wait was a little long, but not a big deal"
I had to wait a bit longer than I expected, but it wasn’t terrible. It kind of seemed like they might’ve been short-staffed or just had a busy rush, though I’m not totally sure. Overall, it was okay.

"I had a billing issue after..."
I had a billing issue after a recent visit, and to be honest, I was fully prepared for it to become a long, annoying process.
I submitted the details through kaiserpermanente.org, and someone responded sooner than I expected. They reviewed what happened, explained the situation clearly, and corrected the charge without sending me in circles or making me call a bunch of different departments.
Dealing with medical bills is never exactly fun, but this was handled in a fair and professional way. Smooth overall, and I’m giving 5 stars because they actually fixed the problem.

I swear, trying to figure out what my plan actually covers is like decoding ancient scrolls. The website explains everything in circles, which is super helpful if your goal is to be more confused than when you started. Usually I don’t find out what’s covered until the bill shows up, because apparently that’s the big reveal

"They say they’ll help, but good luck hearing back"
I was told customer support would be quick and helpful, but that really hasn’t been my experience at all. It takes forever to get a response, and when someone finally does reply, it’s usually vague and doesn’t actually solve anything. Frustrating when the reality is nowhere close to what they promise.

"I was kind of putting off..."
I was kind of putting off making an appointment because I didn’t really feel like dealing with traffic or sitting around in a waiting room for something minor. I ended up trying Kaiser’s telehealth option instead, and after getting logged into the app and waiting a bit, it was actually painless. The doctor came on a few minutes late, but she was friendly, didn’t rush me, and answered what I needed to ask. My prescription was sent over right after the visit too, which was nice. It wasn’t totally perfect, but for a quick appointment, it was way easier than going in person.

"Claims get done, but it’s a bit slow"
My claims have usually gone through in the end, so I can’t really say it’s bad. It just takes longer than I expect, and then I’m left wondering what’s actually happening because the updates aren’t always super clear. Like, the process works, but it could definitely be smoother. Not a terrible experience overall, just kind of frustrating when you’re waiting and don’t know where things stand.

It took a while to get an appointment booked, so the scheduling process was just OKAY for me. Not terrible, but definitely could’ve been quicker.

Every time I’ve dealt with the staff here, it’s felt really unprofessional. They came across rude and kind of talked down to me, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.

"Helpful once I got started"
My experience with Kaiser mental health care has been good overall. It did take a bit to get that first appointment, which was a little frustrating, but after that things felt much easier. The therapy sessions and medication support were simple to keep up with and actually useful. It’s not perfect, but it’s been better than I expected

"I went in thinking it would be..."
I went in thinking it would be a straightforward urgent care visit, but I ended up sitting there for almost 3 hours. The staff I spoke with were nice enough, so it wasn’t like anyone was rude, but nobody really said what was going on or why it was taking so long. Maybe they were short-staffed or something else was happening in the back, I’m not sure. It just felt kind of unorganized from where I was sitting, and by the time I left I was frustrated.

"Really appreciated how well everyone worked together"
Overall, I had a good experience and I’m grateful that my primary doctor, specialist, and pharmacy all seemed to be on the same page. It made the whole process a lot less stressful. I did have to follow up once about a referral, but thankfully it got taken care of without too much trouble.

I was able to find my records quickly, which was easier than I expected. The only downside is that the login can be a little slow sometimes, but overall it got the job done without much hassle

"Refills are convenient, but updates could be clearer"
I use Kaiser Permanente for prescription refills, and overall it gets the job done. Most of the time I can put in a refill request quickly, which is definitely better than having to go in person. But every now and then the status is confusing, and I’m left wondering what’s actually happening. I had to call once just to figure out where things stood. I know no system is perfect, but when it comes to medication, clear updates feel like a basic courtesy people should be able to count on. It’s useful, I just wish it were a little more reliable.

"Lab results take forever sometimes"
I use kaiserpermanente.org often to check my lab results, and the wait can be kinda annoying. Some results pop up really quick, but then other ones just sit there for days with no real update or anything, so you’re just left guessing.
I get that not every test is gonna be instant, but the site doesn’t really tell you much about what’s going on. Half the time I end up calling anyway, which sorta makes the whole online thing feel less useful. It works, yeah, but it could be a lot more helpful

My snap judgment is that this was way easier than I expected. I booked the lab test online, showed up, and didn’t have to sit around forever. The staff was friendly enough, and my results popped up in the app the next day. Only downside was the parking, which was kind of a pain

"Approvals take forever"
Had to wait way too long for the authorization approval. Never got a clear explanation of what was going on, which made the whole thing even more frustrating.
